Grand Hospitality
Privacy Policy
GH Ops and GH Staff are private work apps used by Grand Hospitality (Nitro, Buck's, Fiji and Cenote in St. Catharines, Ontario) and its staff. They are not offered to the public. This policy explains what information the apps collect, why, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Account details: your first and last name, email address, phone number, username and password (passwords are stored encrypted by our sign-in provider and are never visible to us).
- Work information: your job, shifts, clock-in and clock-out times, the venue you clocked in at, and an identifier for the phone you clock in with.
- Things you add: shift log posts and replies, likes, payouts, invoices, inventory counts, events, handbook edits, and photos you upload (such as cash out sheets, invoices or handbook pictures).
- Activity: a record of changes made in the apps, sign-ins and failed sign-in attempts, screens opened, and screenshots or screen recordings taken inside the apps.
- Sales data: GH Ops shows sales totals from the business's point-of-sale system (Poynt). This is business data, not data about you.
The apps do not collect your location, contacts or health data, do not show ads, and do not track you across other apps or websites.
How we use it
- To run the business: scheduling, clock-in and hours for payroll, nightly reports, inventory, and communication between staff and managers.
- To keep the apps secure and confidential, and to keep an accurate record of who changed what.
- To email you password-reset links when you ask for one.
We do not sell your information or share it for advertising.
Who can see it
- Only Grand Hospitality management and staff with the right permissions, set by the owner.
- Our service providers, only to run the apps: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage, hosted in Canada), Resend (sending password-reset emails), and Poynt (point-of-sale data).
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep work records (such as hours, payouts and reports) for as long as the business needs them and as required by law, including Ontario employment-standards record-keeping rules. Account details are kept while your account is active.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in either app: Account → Delete my account. This removes your login and erases your name, email address and phone number. (Managers who use one login for both apps can delete just their GH Staff account from GH Staff; deleting from GH Ops removes the login.) Work records you created are kept for the business's records, but are no longer linked to your contact details. You can also ask a manager or email us to delete your account.
